Units in Auroville

A unit is a semi autonomous body under one of the Auroville Trusts which is run by two or more Aurovillian executives and can engage in commercial or service activities. Some units host a range of small scale activities and are called "umbrella units" - for example ASSA, AVA and LEAD.
