(Amrit:) “Sometimes while in the Ashram, I would observe Navajata coming down from the Mother's room after a consultation, luminous and filled with Her Light and Presence, glowing with the evident Force poured into him. After Her passing, however, a dullness predominated, as if that luminosity had receded, disappearing into the darkness and unconsciousness of atavisms not yet transformed. And this seemed to be a general condition throughout, not only with Navajata – very few if any escaping the spiritual debilitation beginning to settle in.”[1]
