The schools are known as 'Ivar's place'. Some 200 village children (from the poorest families, kids who otherwise would spend practically all their time herding goats) take morning and evening classes and snacks at these schools.

Another 40 kids are enrolled in regular day-school classes and a creche for 25 babies of working mothers is operating, as well as a hostel for five resident students.

The scene is lively and absolutely unique and it works beautifully.
