The mission of Auroville TV is to create better communication inside Auroville and build a bridge between Auroville, its local surrounding and the world.
Methodology
- Collecting, recording and broadcasting aspects of Auroville - places, people and events in and around Auroville.
- Shooting information, visual impressions and interviews.
- Exploring and developing new ways of communication to create a valuable link between people of different cultures.
- Involving people who are interested in this project, both inside and outside of Auroville.
- Developing and preparing specific formats and programs.
- Offering workshops and projects involving schools and other educational centers in Auroville.
Auroville TV was launched on August 13th 2008.
