You could read this firstly in Green Dreamspace, hosted by Dreamcatchers.

When building larger public buildings they could be designed in such a way so as to maximize the areas of green space – not just utilizing the roofs but the overhangs and terraces of the buildings as well. In this way it should even be possible in ideal situations to create more green coverage than was there before construction.

Auroville could extend its record of environmental success, from the re-greening of hundreds of acres of barren plateau, to building the first township in the world which adds more green cover than it removes.
