The Eternity Game

The Chakras

Called lotuses or power centres, and now asleep in our subtle body, the chakras are perhaps the most baffling or esoteric symbols in our game. Yet the same kundalini power which comes to life in them we have already met in its cosmic houses as Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Sun. Now we are invited to meet the same force and its successive seats in our subtle body until we waken them to become little suns. Since man is the microcosm of the macrocosm, the same development plan which the zodiac has revealed to us we now meet again in this seven-fold ladder of consciousness-force constituted in us by the chakras. From the vital man of past ages to the ‘paramahansa’ and the man-lotus of tomorrow, the chakras present to us ever higher seats of awareness and executive power.

The Tantra reminds us: “What is here is everywhere; what is not here is nowhere”. And Jesus said in the Gospel of Thomas, “If you bring forth that which is in you, you will be saved; if it is not in you it will kill you”. But you do not have to be afraid of this magical power in our game. We have invoked its different aspects for you in their most benevolent and understandable form, and simply by the names we have given them you will recognize them as old friends.

TRUTH

There the perfection born from eternity

Calls to it the perfection born in Time

On this highest level of consciousness, the inner fire is reunited with its source, its mother, the sun of truth, bliss, and eternal, infinite consciousness. It is no longer on the thought level, but beyond mind on the level of a realized being, where the divine fire melts the person into the superperson. All that was personal has now become united with the One Person. “All-ruler, ruled by none, the Truth supreme, / Omnipotent, omniscient” brings us a

new world

of which this world is only a beginning and where the one

reality

of the eternal's vast real-idea can manifest itself in all its splendour.

And the way to it is an eternal, unceasing

self-creation.

Our symbol for truth is the Egyptian scarab: “He who creates himself”.

Out of the Unmanifest never to return

Till the Unknown is known and seen by men.
