Aurofilm

Auroville’s cine-film service, dedicated to research and study of the artistic, educational and cultural value of cinema. Films are regularly shown at Bharat Nivas Auditorium, usually on Friday nights, and every year a film festival is held in the presence of film directors, actors or film critics. Workshops and lectures are also held in Kalabhumi, where Aurofilm Institute is located, on the making of films and history of cinema.
