(Sri Aurobindo:) “The heart is the centre of the being and commands the rest, as the psychic being or chaitya purusha is there.”

(Mother to Satprem, 1970:) “Here (gesture to the heart) ... I told you, all energies, from below the feet (Mother gestures as if pulling it all upward), all that was brought up to here. Here (gesture to the heart), it's like a sun, always. It's like a radiant sun: that's where I work; that's where I work from....”
