To the community from the Residents' Assembly-approved Entity::Funds and Assets Management Committee (FAMC)
Dear all, first of all, we want to give a big “Thank You!” to all the people who participated in the recent working groups selection process: the Residents Assembly Service, the selection group/committee participants, the nominees, and many volunteers, etc.
Over the last week we are getting to know each other; we are getting familiar with the logistics; we have had a few meetings and, we are setting up our administration. We need to let you know that we have a new email ID which is famc (at) auroville.services, however emails from @auroville.org.in are blocked from sending to this email ID, so please write to us from another email ID like @gmail, @yahoo, or @hotmail, etc…. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
We’re happy to let you know that we are also meeting together with all the Residents’ Assembly-approved working groups. The issue of replacement of executives of various services and appointment of new executives by the Office of the Secretary, Auroville Foundation, which is the prerogative of the RA-approved FAMC, has been raised by the Working Committee to the Governing Board, International Advisory Council and the Ministry of Education.
