Kailash Residential Program

Entity::Kailash went through a full renewing of its residents this year. As most of the previous group reached the age limit or graduated from Future School, they left the residence during the summer 2012. Since then, a batch of new "Kailashians" joined slowly as they turn 16 year old. It was not the time to go for new experimentations.

This year focused on re affirming the value of the project.

• Understanding and respecting the 5 main rules.
• Adapting the existing guidelines to the new group's needs.
• Sharing and growing from the new experiences.

Kailash is now full with young Aurovilians or students of Auroville. The diversity in nationalities, genders, origins, ages is very high, offering an interesting mix to make the community meetings rich of point of views and debates for defining internal best practices.

From the caretaker side, we went on with the idea of including former "Kailashians" to guide new residents. As the result of this practice looks quite good, we want to develop this plan with one or two more "big brother or sister".
