Center School

The Entity::Center School is an educational area which evolved over the years from kindergarten playground into a primary school for children up to 10-11 years. At present there are more than 40 children aged between 3 and 11 and more than 20 adults serving as teachers either full time or part time. Although the school is a rather traditional one (group-centered and subject-oriented) the essential thing is that the children learn to concentrate.

The adults are involved with the children in a variety of creative relationships, trying to offer them the opportunity to build up some basic mental skills as well as to explore other possible fields of study such as history, geography, science etc.

The emphasis on creative expression is quite strong. Various arts and crafts are an integral part of the life in Center School. The main medium is English, but many children also study French and Tamil.
